I get an ultrasound at 15 weeks and 1 day.

On my birthday next week - 5th december :)

I know its very early. But is there any chance of determining the sex at all?

I'm afraid it's a bit early. Use your Mothers Instinct. It usually works!

Congratulations on your pregnancy and happy birthday for the 5th of december. I found out at the 18 week ultrasound I was having a baby girl and every ultrasound after that I kept asking I still wasn't convinced up until she was born.

Yes, although if the baby's shy you may not. I saw my baby was a boy at 12 weeks in 3D and it was pretty clear. Some keepsake ultrasound companies will let you come back for free if they can't tell what the gender is. My ultrasound company in south florida does. Call around and see what people in your area tell you.

Of course there's a chance. Go to youtube.com and look at the 15 week ultrasounds. Most of them are pretty clear.
Someone on here told you that the genitals aren't visable until 20 weeks and that is so wrong.
Check out youtube, you will be surprised.
Congrats on your little one.

sometimes in very rare cases it is possible, but I would check again at 20weeks to be certain. 18-20 weeks is usually the earliest most accurate time to determine the sex but it is possible if you get a very good, clear picture of the baby and a good sonographer performing the scan.
Having a 4D scan would be better at determining the sex at 15weeks

Best of luck and congratulations

I had my first scan at 16 weeks and they could tell she was a girl from then. It does depend on the position of the baby though, i was fortunate that she was lying facing the front with her legs open so they could see clearly. You may get lucky!!!

Sex cannot be determined until at least 18 weeks. That is why men and women both have nipples... strange but true.
