The Greek Ego. I. Id.
A healthy Ego provides the ability to adapt to reality and interact with the outside world.
Otherwise on a broader view, one "face" (or "phase").
Maybe look into Webster's on-line and Wiktionary, etc for more.
I think you are not referring to personal Identification, like passport, State Id, Driver's License, finger prints, eye scans, teeth, etc. Ha,ha!
"Know Thyself"
