The world is not overpopulated or anywhere near overpopulation. There is just overconsumption by GREEDY people. Too many cars and planes causing pollution and war to fight to get oil. Too many wars faught by the greedy.
Without cars and planes there would be plenty of oil and no need for war.
Without greed everyone can be happy and eat well.
Also eat vegetables and rice and avoid meat.
Eating meat uses up much more energy and wastes food that could be for humans.
So be a peaceful vegetarian and we can easily support 12 billion people on this planet and live for billions of years and the human race will survive.

No we'll fall out of our orbit because the earth becomes to heavy and we will float away into outerspace or collide with the sun. Get real I live in a country the size of the US and the population is under 20 million believe me, It will never happen.

what happens when any civilization gets overpopulated? they have a crash. in our case pandemic instead of just endemic outbreak, war over water and food.
homosexuals have always been around, its a great way to reduce a population by having less pregnancies.
we're already experiencing many problems caused by overpopulation. poverty, homeless, un/underemployment, pollution.

I don't believe the world has been overpopulated as you say; but I do think the world view has been seen through a very tiny hole and I believe many find joy in teaching such nonsense.

stop being childish! overpopulation only happens depending on the country. Some nations have increasing populations and others have decreasing populations.

How can we over populate when we fight wars that kill thousands & kill thousands of babies through abortion every day?
Millions are dying of starvation!
It is a shame that we all feel we have to congregate in one spot so that we feel crowded & think there are too many ppl here!
