daffodils. because it reminds me of my grandmother who passed away when i was in 6th grade. her yard was covered in them.

The rice plant because I can eat rice and rice is a nutritious food that will feed the world !

My favorite plant would be T-leaves. Not the drinking type.
We use them for Cooking, hula skirts, leis, sandals, crafts
...there's so many varieties and different colors.
We have a few varieties in our yard.
