First step is to understand what anger is and how it works?
Base of anger is likes and dis-likes, which is the root-cause of all problems. For example some one is trying to push you, which you don't like, then you will be angry. Or you have identified (likes) with an idea, when criticized, you become angry.
Anger comes and overpowers you when you are not aware. If you are aware, then you will immediately come to know that this situation which is going to give you anger. If you can achieve this, then anger will not manifest. Slowly anger will vanish even at subtle level.
We must know that we are separate from anger, which is temporary and not desirable. Anger emerges, stays and then dies down. We can always control it!

I've been trying find an answer to that question myself. Anger can be like drug for some people. Just like drugs you know they are bad for you but they do something for you. Whether they make you forget your problems or make you feel more confident or make you feel stronger etc. Anger can be an addiction because of the benefits you get from it. Yes it's a very short term benefit and you wind up trying to right the wrongs while you were angry but to some the bad benefits out weigh the good. Sounds screwed up doesn't it? But ask yourself when you are angry do you feel strong, invincible, confident like nothing can stop you? If you answered yes to any of these then seek help immediately cause it only gets harder to let go of. I mean who doesn't want to have that type of feeling all the time? No, not the angry feeling but the feeling of nothing can stop you or get you down. Well for some that is the only time they feel that way and who wants to let go of something like that? Good luck to you.

I would suggest finding things you truly enjoy to do to relieve your built up emotions inside. Whenever I have my bad moments, or am angry at the world, I turn to the things that make me happy...I talk to my friends, family, listen to music, play piano, go for a walk or drive, workout, do anything to relieve my anger in a healthy way. Just do something to make yourself happy.

you have to work off your anger. its by knowing when to react.. know how to control emotions...
-is it proper to get mad if people are around you?
-is reacting or by not controlling my emotions is being mature?
and others..... there are so many ways to control your bad reactions and of course for you not to get frustrated, you should give it your best for everything that you do... so that wrong decisions wont come along your way.

A lot of training. First you'll forget to control it, second you'll remember after you had a bad temper and finally you'll remeber before it starts. The question is: Will you be able to do something about it?

Maturity is what causes people to be able to control their anger. You must take control of your own actions, instead of your actions taking control of you.
