Where would I find information on an abandoned property in Chicago?

There is an old abandoned firehouse on Chicago's west side... Where would I find out who currently owns it and if it is for sale?

the municipality owns town property. Call the town clerks office first. They will have the deed of ownership recorded and you can start there.
