If so, why? If not, do you believe you could achieve this someday?

I think everyone is alive so they can experience life to the fullest and live a life that's desirable to that one person.

Thank you all for sharing.

charmed girl, I like the way you think, especially at 15. It's nice to know someone around my age can ponder this. I'm only 16 and I know I'm on my desired road. I'm sure you'll take it and have an amazing journey.

I also feel that in order to live the life that you want to, it must be YOUR way. Not to be afraid of what others think or expect of you.

Yes I do believe I am on my desired path. My spirit is compelled to seek the knowledge of God. In that I have learned from Him the value of my life. I have learned the reason for my existence and it is due the spirits need to know, it's compelling force that drives me to the end in faith.
Secular? Still I am on the path of my desires. "The Fine Arts". It is as difficult as can be and I have paid in pounds of flesh for where I am but the poverty and the lack of recognition is a freedom and a hindrance. Still, I have followed my desires here on earth since I was a kid back in the 1960s! This is the way it is and I have more than just the work of my hands to comfort me, I have the works of my heart to hold and love me in my wife and family.
Daydreams will never see the light of day but the dreams of my childhood have come through in a common glory.
A narrow path I have. But the traffic is darn near non existant!

I am impressed with your thinking at 16. It appears you are exploring, much as I did at your age. Yes, I am where I need & want to be, but it was a journey of self discovery to get here, & it has changed it's face many times thru the years as I have grown in truth & knowledge. Good blessings to you.

I think that's a really wise thing to say/ask.

However, I am only 15 years old, so I haven't quite yet grasped the path that will lead to my future.

I really wish I could find it, and get on the road though, because i think it's never too early to think about that kind of stuff.

I believe that the path we travel is made from the choices we make. So anyone with the ability to choose is traversing the path they want. Desire and want are close enough for me to say yes, I am.
Only someone who is not in the position to make their own choices could claim that they aren't.
