Nope.
Well, almost nope. The folks programming the Wii may get a little better at it over the coming years, and potentially improve graphics a bit in software for the existing machine. That's common with new consoles, though moreso with really complex ones like the X-Box 360 or, even more, the Sony PS3.
In general, when a company releases a game console, that's it... its "cast in stone". They may well introduce cost reduced models that do the same things, or these days offer slightly different features in the box (larger hard drives, wired vs. wireless controllers, etc), but they keep the main system the same.
The main reason for this is that software developers count on this. When you write a game for a PC, you have to at least consider a wide variety of controllers, graphics capabilities, CPU speeds, etc. This can make PC programming more complex. Developers love the popular consoles because they're always the same: a PS2 is a PS2, a Wii is always a Wii, etc. The number of variations is very small; they don't have to worry about what Nintendo's doing next year with the Wii.
That doesn't mean Nintendo won't ever deliver a high definition console, and you can bet they're learing from their smash success with the Wii. But it would be the next generation machine, whatever they decide to call that. It might play Wii games, but it would also have a new mode for more complex games.. much as the Gameboy Advance played the old Color Gameboy games, or the DS plays the Advance games, or most of the PS3s play PS2 games (the new cheap one doesn't, and they're even getting flack over that... but Sony's got issues these days).

Nintendo Wii is less powerful than the Xbox 360 and Playstion 3. The graphics on the Wii only support 480i which is equivalent to most analog televisions while the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 support 720p and 1080i and 1080p which is high definition. Nintendo seems to focus on a more casual family oriented gamer. Nintendo has never focus on the quality and image of the games but rather their number goal is on maintaining a fun, exciting interactive gameplay.
In order for Nintendo to have games in High Definition it would literally take a new design creation and new motherboard and chipset which would be extremely expensive for a investment.

No.. in particular reason PS3 and 360 are asserting new action administration controllers this E3.... in spite of if Wii HD got here out, I doubt if it could have the sheer skill of the PS3 cellular... i might any day choose mature hardcore video games having action controls on consoles like PS3 and 360 over casual video games like Mario on Wii... Wii in simple terms is in simple terms too casual for my liking. anyhow, Wii HD next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days is not any threat. a sparkling Wii console is envisioned through 2011-2012. The Wii is going stable on revenues, so I doubt Nintendo will launch a sparkling console now a minimum of in a years time. you're in simple terms basing the reality on a stupid IGN positioned up (Oh ya and IGN does lie... it is not God you recognize.. They lied while they stated Wii would not stand a wager in the previous it is launch... They lied while they stated the 360 will consume PS3 alive 2 years back...). those posts are in accordance with random rumors. Agreed IGN gets it outstanding maximum cases, yet have faith me a sparkling console interior the marketplace now spells doom. No Wii HD till 2011.

Nintendo is more focused on gameplay not graphics. I really dealt that Nintendo is going to suddenly create a Wii with HD. There probably will only be one Wii, the normal one. In a few years Nintendo might release a new console though.

While not as powerful as the 360 or the Ps3 graphics wise the Wii is still capable of good graphics. The company's that produce the games need only to use what the Wii can do in order to maximize the graphics.
