I AM 9 MONTHS PREGNANT. 38 WEEKS TO BE EXSACT. AND I HAVE AN ITCHING SENCESATION ALL OVER MY BODYAND IM GETTING SWOLLEN..
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS IS NORMAL OR IF ANY OF YOU HAVE SIMILAR SITUATIONS.

im not sure about an answer to the itching part. But i did read that more swelling can occur when you are farther along in pregnancy if you are laying on your right side when you sleep or nap or lay on your back. or sleep wrong in general. if you try sleeping on your left side some of your swelling may come down a bit...now if your swelling is because of you itching, that is something im not sure of. hi im in my 35 weeks and yes i am going insane with itchin all over the body arms, hands, feet, soles, legs u name it...n my OB said its due to higher level of bile acid in the liver so he sent me for a blood test n it came back positive so hez putting me on prescribed anti-biotics for 7 days otherwise he sez if in his opinion it seems higher the bile acid he will have to induce the baby. My cousin had the same problem itching all over so her doctor induced her baby at 36 weeks on Nov 14/07...so i would recommend u bring the topic of Bile Acid up with ure OB n see what they say! good luck!

if rashes develops and there are soreness, you better consult your doc asap.
