from ESPN.com's greatest power forwards list:
"1. Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs, 1998-present
TD dominates at both ends of the floor. The Big Fundamental has two NBA championships with San Antonio in 1999 and 2003 (more than Malone, Barkley and Pettit combined). Stats and awards don't begin to tell the Tim Duncan story, but here are a few. MVP awards in 2002 and 2003, an all-league defender, and a 22.8 points per game average in his first seven seasons."

Tim Duncan has 4 NBA Championships and 2 MVPs. He also has 3 NBA Finals MVPs. There isnt another current player in the NBA that has all of those credentials.

I think the best power forward today is Tim Duncan because he is three-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player and he is currently captain in their team.He has also won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award twice, and has been voted into nine All-Star games, ten All-NBA teams, and ten All-Defensive teams.

KG! Dirk has an out side shot, but KG has everything else. Duncan is too fundamental its boring, plus if KG was on the Spurs they would win every year. I wish he could play with Kobe, they always put on a show in the All Star games together... no more of that ....for a wile.

Tim Duncan
he has won 4 championships, 2 mvps, and 3 finals mvps.
his game is always consistent for the most part, and he's always there to pass the ball, or knock down a shot!
