i dunno it seems all i hear especially on P&G is that life sucks, the world is going to hell, and everyone's out to get me. but here i am, typing happily on my computer, drinking a cold coke. i look out the window and ya know what the stars are shining i don't see bombs going off or a meteor headed straight for us. don't get me wrong i'm not saying things are perfect but i feel that a lot of people are tricking themselves into thinking their life is worse than it actually is

Is that glass of coke half full or half empty??
It sounds like it's half full. It's not all that you wanted., but it's a hell of a lot better than having nothing at all.

In your little corner, things may be fine. However, there are real problems out there, and if you walk outside, you could spend a lifetime aiding people that really need help...people that should be receiving help from relief societies or the government (yes, the government is responsible in a sane society of caring for the needy).

Otherwise, we don't really have a country, just a bunch of individuals that want to kill each other.

No, I don't see bombs or meteors either.

I am concerned about:

1) The economy (mortgage crisis, weak dollar, stock slide, oil prices, etc)

2) Social security.

3) Health care (especially for kids).

4) The lousy education Americans are receiving.

and a few other things...
