MTV decided to get on board with Microsoft, so if you don't have the newest version of IE and media player your out of luck.

The other problem is is you have new newest version of media player then some sites will not display videos since they require the older version of IE.

I know it's really messed up, but I wouldn't change your system just for MTV's web site since you can go to VH1, youtube, AOL music and most of the same information.

I just saw Ryan's post, if your on dial up connection you really can't do videos.

First of all, are you using a dial up connection? If so, this might be the culprit. If you want to watch streaming video clips on your computer, I recommend a broadband connection such as Cable or DSL. If you're using dial up, you'll get the result you described earlier. A broadband connection can download the video very fast, so you can enjoy viewing streaming video.

Well it sounds like your media player isn't up to date. Not sure what kind of computer you have, or internet service, but it seems to me like your media player needs to be updated. I would get online and look up media player.I have posted a website that should help you out with the media player, and the quick time. If you would like help step by step you can email me at jill_mallory2001@yahoo.com. I hope that helps you some hun. Good Luck

Click pause when the video starts and wait until the video completely loads, then play.

Your connection might be slow.

Basically, it downloads the video as it plays. If it plays faster than it is downloading, it will constantly stop to wait for the downloading of that one second to finish.
