I am not interested in any other social sciences. I don't like poli science, history, econimcs., etc. Do you think there are high changes of me not getting into law school because pschology is pretty easy compared to other social sciences. ?

Yes.

Edit: And I'm not sure what year in school you are, but it's not as easy as you may think. Just get back to me after you write a 30 page senior thesis and have to compile surveys using a chi square. Lol!

Also, psych majors happen to do better on average than political science and prelaw majors on the LSAT.

I think that the LSAT is more important than your undergraduate degree, at least, that's what I've gotten from the Law Schools I've talked to. For instance, I'm a Creative Writing English Major, which for some reason, they encourage, whereas a "Pre-Law" degree tends to make Law Schools shy away. Go figure?

To be a successful lawyer, you will have to lerarn how to thoroughly research thi ngs. Why not start now by googling the web sites of some law schools and see what they may recommend as an undergrad degree.
By the way, if you think psych is an easy major, ...ever take abnormal psych???
incidentally, accounting and English are excellent pre law programs.

Any degree with good grades and a good LSAT score will get you in. I think Philosophy is a good area of study because it is a lot like law school. You learn to think in grays, not just black and white. Writing courses also help because you will write alot, all through law school and taking the bar. Oh, yeah, and at the law firm you work at.

LSAT, GPA, and LSAC paperwork is what most law schools look at. The main thing they want to see a lot of is writing skills along with the stuff I already mentioned. Check out the two sites below for more information.

From my experience with Law School admissions it is a lot like Medical school. It is easier to get in with a related major, but as long as you have great grades, a good admission file, and an awesome LSAT score they will definately consider you.
