Ok so i had blood work done about a month ago...im so annoyed because they havnt called with the results...and its like killing me...LOL i am going back in about a week and a half...the thing im curious about is...if it was anything serious would they call me???? or wait till i come in????...and if it wasnt serious would they call me?...or wait for me to come in for that to....thank you

Doctors rarely wait to tell someone bad news. They will however leave you waiting and wondering if there is no news to tell. Calm down. Everything is probably fine.

They call if it was serious. They dont usually call if it wasnt unless you asked them to call regardless of the results. They'll tell you the results when you come in and if they dont, ask them so you have something to compare it to for the next time if it changes.

I don't think that they are allowed to discuss serious matters over the phone. Im pretty sure you have to wait until you go back in. but if it was really bad maybe they would have called and asked you to come in sooner? hope all is well!

normally i think they would wait until you came in unless you went and got somethin specific done or if they found something serious wrong then they would probably call you other then that i doubt they would call you hope the results comeback great!good luck

The general rule is .... no news is good news. If your that frustrated with them just call your doctors office and ask for your results. They will tell you.

Generally they don't call unless something shows up. You are probably healthy. But you can call and ask if there were any results.

I think that if its something really serious your doctor will call you! One time i had this labwork.. and the dr call me inmediately and told me to go in ASAP.. and i went.. and it was something serious.. so don't worry.. or you should call them and ask them about your lab work!

If there was any thing seriously wrong they would contact you asap another thing to do is contact them that's what I do just so I know what the results are.
