...there WAS a script, as well as rampant on-and-off rumors over at the New Line Cinema camp, regarding such a sequel, which would have incorporated the character of Ash, from the 'Evil Dead' movie series...

...for the time being, that idea has been axed, at least in movie form; in November, DC comics and Dynamite Entertainment optioned the original movie script, for a limited comic book incarnation. I've seen some of the artwork for this series, and it looks unique and campy enough to warrent possible purchase...

...and who knows??? The 'Alien vs. Predator' movies originally saw life as a comic book; if the "Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash" comic book garnishs enough interest, perhaps New Line Cinema might change their minds, and vie for a possible feature film, in the future...

...in the meantime, at least some folks are having some outrageous fun with this oh-so campy idea, as evident in the attached cartoon video (...on the second webpage, click on 'Watch This Movie')

(edit)

...the general conscencious amongst the devoted horror film community is that "Freddy vs Jason vs Ash" would probably be the worst idea since Greedo shooting first; however, being a most devoted horror fan, myself, as well as being pretty open-minded, I would be keen to the movie idea, if the story is interesting, fun, makes sense, and it appears that everyone involved, both behind and in front of the camera, are doing this for the fun of it, and for the fans, instead of just squeaking out a quick buck...

...I recently spoke to my Grandfather (...still a devoted horror film fan, himself) about this idea, and about the general state of horror films today; his response is that "what goes around, comes around, and even at the movies, history has a tendancy to repeat itself, in that sense". He also said that back in his day, the initial proposed idea of pitting the Frankenstein Monster against the Wolf Man was a ludicrous idea, and yet "Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man" has since become a golden cult classic, in it's own right...

...so who knows???

Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Michael Myers................

IT'S ALL NIGHTMARES IN HALLOWEEN WITH JASON VOORHEES!!!!

No, but i wish they hurry up. Unfortunately, they cancelled it for some reason.

God i hate it when they talk about sequels like this and they change their mind.
It's so annoying.

Oh, and by the way, my bet will be Jason to win. I love both Jason and Michael Myers.
