Okay, i'm going to have to agree with whoever wrote that cars are never manufactured for a specific sex. Girls may like a car for whatever reason, but that doesn't make the car a girls car. I mean I've seen guys drive around in Beetle Turbo S's and that's supposedly a chick car too so the idea of chick cars doesn't really exist. The fact that you have a Celica GT-S with the TRD kit definitely gives your car a more aggressive appearance. Although I hope you're driving a 6 speed version because my next statement might not be completely true. Those Acura boys are just a little threatened because your Celica (in a bone stock drag race) can either keep up or smoke their cars.

Mind you...I currently drive a 06 RSX type-S too. The only reason I prefer it to the Celica is beacuse of Toyota's setup with the GT-S's gear ratios and the VVT-i. The GT-S has a sweet spot of power between 6-8000 RPM and unfortunately every time you shift...you fall out of that sweet spot. Had toyota spaced the gears possibly a bit closer or maybe created a bit more torque with the motor this wouldn't be a problem. But they didn't do either so the car isn't as quick as it could be.

Having said that though, your GT-S is quite a reliable pocket rocket (although I wish Toyota had not installed the fuel cut off before redline on the 03+ models...I would recommend finding a way to reflash your ECU to cure that problem). the 03 GT-S will still do 0-60 in about 7.3 seconds which isn't too bad. Also let's compare the numbers here. Most integras weight just as much as a GT-S (if not more) with differing amounts of power. The base models (which about 80% of the general population owns) have 140 HP, the GS-R has 170 hp, and the Type -R's (which are almost impossible to find nowadays) have 195 hp. Your Celica has 180 hp and almost a 100 lbs weight advantage. It will keep up with the Acuras (except for the integra Type-R and the RSX Type-S) no problem. As for a Base RSX...its pretty hard for them to keep up seeing that they only have 160 hp and bit more weight.

So in closing, your Celica is not a girl car. It was a decent offering from Toyota albeit a pricey one for the class. I'm not saying the RSX's were any cheaper but its no surprise that both cars are no longer with us especially with Honda's 07 Civic Si being a comparable yet cheaper car, and the Scion Tc being so dirt cheap in comparison to the Celica. Enjoy your Celica for what it is, a somewhat sporty daily driver that'll handle abuse (unless you decide to constantly see how far you can swing the needle into redline).

Lastly, the differences between a Chevy Cavalier and an Acura Integra are numerous. To make this short though i'll list out some obvious ones. Like it was said before, they pretty much aren't in the same category. The cavalier is an entry level coupe more like the Civic Coupe and the Integra is an entry level luxury sports coupe. The Cavalier is a dirt cheap car for people on a budget. It isn't very refined and feels cheap. The Integra on the other hand is a more refined car which probably drives better, is probably more reliable in the long run, and i would say looks better also. However you have to pay more for an Integra. So in a nutshell the integra is an overall better car, but it'll cost you more. Try comparing a civic to the cavalier first.

A Celica is a girls car UNTIL you get a kit. Since you have a TRD kit, you're good to go. The diference between and Integra and Cavalier is EVERYTHING, except for the fact that they are both available as 2dr or 4dr and both have a I-4.

All Volkswagens and Volvos are for girls. Celicas and Eclipse's are also for girls UNTIL MODIFIED. Stock ones are for girls. Throw a body kit or turbo on there and bam, your a dude. However, even though an Eclipse is for girls, a Talon is not. BTW, why is this in an Acura section? The Celica is by Toyota which just all around BLOWS. Toyotas are extremely unreliable. Don't listen to the commercials. My entire family (other than me) owns and has owned over 15 of them. All broke down constantly and all had check engine lights on. And this is cars that have been taken good care of.

Ok Celica is a car for Suky to drive it for show and tell during night get together in a local Mall Parking lot. Lots of pink and is just plain cute... like her pony tails.

Now, Acura and Cavalier... two different birds. You are comparing the cheapest car from Chevy Vs the top of the line Honda. Lets say, you want to compare with a dirt cheap Civic now you have a comparison. Now pick a Top of the Line Chevy and Compare with an Acura. Acura is just a re-badge Honda whatever. Take a Civic and put a better engine on it and there you have it on lame terms. Is the Rich Man Econo Box Honda. Chevy does not really have a car to compare on that market so the closest thing could be the Cobalt with the Supercharged engine. The mentality of Chevy on this case, are affordable cars for certain price tag bracket.

Now compare the top of the line Honda (Acura) with a top of the line GM ( Cadillac could be depending the market) and now you have a fair comparison.

Now... If you take a cheap Cavalier (no longer made) and mod the engine you might get yourself a cheap fun car to drive. But a Nav system, Satellite Radio, 1000 W Woofers, Body Kits, Coffee Can for exhaust and sure looks fast but does it goes fast???? That is the question... You just Acuraized, Lexsurized, Infitizied the car :-))

The Celica is a nice little cheap car for getting around town and doing a little racing..small, light , and nimble...carbon fibre hood, mirrors, bodykit, rear wing, upgraded brakes, rims ,high performance tires, and upgraded exhaust/ suspension/ intercooler/turbocharger will butch it up...the car is only as cool as it's owner makes it...VW Beetles can be turned into beasties...the difference between the /cavalier and Acura integra is Type R...V-Tec..Hondata....the Integra is a upgraded Civic, one of the most easily attainable and modified cars in the world...Cavalier is what you settle for....it's a domestic contender to sport import tuners...puny engine, okay transmission,.....anything can be modified...but even with a turbo, intercooler, engine management, and etc...it still pales in comparision to most tuners...The Cobalt is a better car but the RSX is even better

Meh, it depends on the Celica.

Acura Integra is an entry level Acura and the Cavalier is an entry level Chevy. The Integra is a better car in virtually every way.

A Celica is a girl's car if it has the base engine, no options, and an auto transmission. Celica is a better car than Integra and RSX in every way. Actually, Celica became too fancy for young buyers and got too expensive so they ceased importing them here in 05.

Chevy Cavalier is pure garbage. It is one of the most cheap cars GM manufactures.

Acura integra is a wonderful car compared to the Chevy. It will last forever.
