thing next to moon on Nov. 26, 07?

theres this thing that I think might be a satalight and its next to the moon, I would like to know what it is... cause that'd be great! thnx everyone ♥

It is Mars. You can identify it by its reddish color.
By the way you can not see stationary satellites. If you see satellites they are moving across the sky in a similar way as high altitude aircraft.
