Anything that national security depends that highly on, shouldn't be relied on by the private sector.
As we see with oil prices and the strain it causes to small businesses, there is a conflict of interest.
Don't mistake that as me supporting nationalizing anything but the bare minimums that national security relies on.

I would say yes to this only if I trusted the government MORE than these businesses, but I don't. Can you imagine making the bureaucracy of the department of defense even larger?
Also, the American way is to bomb away at anything and everything it disagrees with. So nationalizing these companies will not decrease any of our wars.

Innovation comes from risk-taking individuals in the private industry, not government bureaucrats. This fact alone is why America leads the world in military technology. Leave it alone and continue to live in security.

Business and government must be separate so that the perception of people that war is being waged for profit will be eliminated.

Right, just what we need another government run bureaucracy, another step towards socialism. Or to put it another way, another "hillaryism"...
The companies that do defense work, (I worked for them for 30 years) don't make the decision to go to war. That decision is, and should be, up to the government.

Just nationalize everything and get it over with already. As soon as all of y'all have relegated yourselves to serfdom, I can come down off the mountain and take it ALL in a single coup!

OH my, wait now and think that through, if the military were privatized the facade of service would no longer be necessary, like health care... at least we know how hard we're getting it, without regulation... they would absolutely take over the country,

If there was no profit involved, then the US would never be at war.
Can you imagine what sort of a hell on Earth that would be?

Yes, and the oil companies. Don't mind the trolls, they believe what they are told to believe.
