I suspect any student of Presidential Elections will admit that Hillary should be able to get the Democratic Nomination with little or no effort. It is surprising that the race is as tight as it is. Her electability has always been a major issue. Her success in the General Election depends mostly on the ability of her campaign to succeed in using Mayor Bloomberg as her Ross Perot. If Bloomberg runs as a third party (and I believe that is exactly the plan) he can do all of the mud-slinging at the Republican Candidate and allow Hillary to remain above the fray.
His candidacy will provide her much needed protection in any debates with the Republican nominee. Bloomberg can nail the Republican with difficult to answer questions. He can also fire what appear to be hard questions to Hillary, however, she will have carefully crafted replies already rehearsed and ready to go. After she secures the nomination, every effort will go toward making her look "presidential".
That is how Bill Clinton managed to get himself elected both times using billionaire Ross Perot as his attack dog. Now Hillary must try the same tactic using billionaire Bloomberg as her attack dog. The only question is can she pull the charade off since she lacks Bill Clinton's charm and likability?
Note the date and time. We shall see what comes to pass.

As a conservative, I think it is great. However, they say this is a Republican pollster.
I am wary of any one sided polls, and I also think it is too early for predictions.
I think it is better to wait until after the primaries and we will know then who the candidates are. The most exciting part is when the dust settles and we have two major candidates. Only then can we start discerning the different polls and news reports.

It's waaay too early for polls to mean anything.
About this time before the 1996 election, Bill Clinton was trailing in the polls behind an 'undisclosed Republican'. As soon as the Republican was -disclosed- the race tightened.
People are dissatisfied with the Republicans. And they don't like Hillary. But when it comes down to the wire, I will stick my neck out and predict the Democrats will win, with Hillary or without her.

After the Bush Administration and the Republican controlled Congress from '94-2006, I will never vote for another Republican ever again but I also won't vote for Hillary. Hillary's just more of the same. We need change.

I think I love it!! I hope it stays that way because Hillary is poison and can only destroy our nation with her insanity! If she keeps opening up her big mouth and giving her opinions and unclear answers, she will not make it to the top. People need to pay attention to this political race and be sure they know what they are voting for. Education and research can only make your vote be what it should be; your own voice, not that of someone else. This is your Country, your privilege and your future. Make your choices wisely!!

She was acting as though she already won her party's nomination.
Maybe there won't be a coronation- oops! the swearing in of another Clinton after all..
I always felt that her pride and arrogance would doom her to a 2nd place finish.

I'm actually quite shocked! I was all ready to concede the idea that Hillary was going to be our next President. But now, it seems possible that she can lose.
Maybe, I've underestimated the voters, if I have... I'll be the first to apologize! And be glad to do it! Go Huckabee!!

That's because the Republicans are split on their vote between Romney/Giuliani with the occasional Mccain/Thompson
As soon as a front runner is chosen, Hillary is going to fall, she is only in the lead, because no one else in the Democrat party is taking interest, and that lead is falling with every word she speaks
