I don't think you can compare the two. Romo has been in the league and doing well for 2 years and Favre for alot longer. Just remember Kurt Warner won the MVP in his first year with the Rams and now is bouncing around from team to team and isn't a Pro Bowl quarterback anymore.

There is no way that Romo is anywhere near as good as Brett Favre. I mean come on Romo has made a ton of mistakes this year. Favre is the all time leader in touchdown passes, wins, and his consecutive starting streak is still going. You can't compare Romo to that! Plus Romo has only been starting since the middle of last year. It could be beginners luck.
Oh Yeah, PACKERS all the way on Thursday!!!!!!!

If you compare the two THIS SEASON, absolutely. As far as Romo is concerned he is gonna have to do this consistently for many years to come, before he can truly compared to Brett Farve and the comparisons have any meaning.
Now if you wanna say Romo is a bit of a "gun slinger" as is Farve, thats a fair comparison. They both have either played in or call the Wisconsin area home. The are fair things to compare. They do play similarly.
Now as a Cowboy fan, I will say this... Romo is no Brett Farve. And he wont be unless he can do what he is doing this season over and over and over.
But the reason you are gonna see Cowboy fans excited and willing to claim Romo as "better" is because he is having a great season, he appears to have a legit passion for the game, and you can't say he ins't exciting to watch. One thing people never talk about though, is Romo doesnt have nearly the arm strength Farve does. And thats okay, but I just hope he will not be quite as fast to force passes as Farve has been in the past.
Comparisons can and will be made. Farve as of now is the superior QB, carrer wise. This season I would say it is almost a dead heat.
Dallas by 10. Home Field advantage.

Romo doesnt have as much experience as Favre, so you cant compare them. But when Romo has played as many years as Favre, he will be better than him.

No. He's not seen anything yet. Just too much experience to be had. There is a lot of stories and guts and glory, and bad teams and Farve trying to win games with those interceptions. Farve has THOUSANDS of stories, been there done that. Romo is trying to get his first playoff win ever.

Its not even close. Favre is a living legend and Romo hasn't even played a full season yet.
