im thinking me new employee is stealing products.. how much moneys worth can he steal before i can have him arrested?

Any amount if you can prove it. Depending upon where your business is located certain amounts are considered misdemeanors and larger amounts are considered felonies.

a penny, a cent, the amount is irrelevent, it is considered an act of gross misconduct which is instant dismissal, it is a trust thing and theft from an employer is very seroius offence and can hold a custodial sentence . do make sure you have the evidence first, but you are proberbly right, go with your instincts, good luck

$1 would do it. It would be a misdemeanor. Most states say $400 before it is a felony.

there is no limit, stealing is stealing. you just need proof before you call the cops or he can sue you.

you have to have proof of theft. you cant just accuse..........
video surveliance tape is the best. then u can fire her /his a.....
