YES BUT IN CANADA THE PRICES REFLECT THE IMPERIAL GALLON (LITERS/ 5QTS.) COMPARED TO THE US GALLON (4 QTS).
(US 25 GALLONS /CANADA 18 GALLONS)

LET SEE GAS WAS IN 1964 WHEN I HAD MY FIRST CAR 20 CENTS A GALLON.

1973 GAS WARS AND .75 PG

2006 3.00 PG

YA KNOW I WAS THINKING THE OTHER DAY AND THAT GETS DANGEROUS WHEN YOU HAVE TIME TO THINK. IF THE GAS COMPANIES WOULD HAVE CHARGED .05 PG EACH YEAR TO THE GAS PRICES, WE WOULD BE AT OUR CURRENT LEVEL IN 2008?? THE ECONOMY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC COULD HAVE ACCEPTED A SLOW RISE IN PRICES? DID YOU KNOW THAT GAS IN SAUDI ARABIA IS 15 CENTS A GALLON?

IF YOU WANT TO CONTROL THE GAS PRICES, DO NOT HAVE A BOYCOTT OF ONE DAY ALL STOP. THEY KNOW YOU ARE COMING BACK? YOU HAVE TO THE NEXT DAY? THINK ABOUT THIS? THERE ARE THREE MAJOR DISTRIBUTORS OF GAS. EXXON, SHELL AND MOBILE. IF YOU DO NOT TRADE WITH THEM AND WE WERE TO USE JET-PEP, CONNACO ETC THEN YOU HAVE HIT THE BIG GUYS HARD. WHEN YOU DO THIS, YOU UPSET THERE FLOW OF PRODUCTION (ECONOMICS-20,000 GALLONS A WEEK SALES DROPPED TO 10,000 GALLONS, SURPLUS, LOWER PRICES, LIFO. ELASTICITY / DEMAND AND COSTS WILL CHECK OUT TO WHAT THE CONSUMER WANTS TO PAY FOR AN ITEM) THEY MUST LOWER THEIR COST AS A COMPANY TO SURVIVE. ONCE THEY LOWER THEIR COSTS SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE) CUURENTLY WE ARE FEELING THE EFFECT OF A SHIP IN CALIFORNIA THAT LOST THOUSANDS OF GALLONS OF OIL. IF WE BECOME A NATION OF ECO CARS WE CAN DROP GAS PRICES DOWN TO NEXT TO THE 2000 PRICES AT 2.10 A GALLON BECAUSE WE DO NOT NEED THERE GAS WITH BATTERIES TO RUN OUR CARS AND SOLAR ENERGY THAT IS FREE WITH THE SUN LIGHT. JUST THINKING AGAIN WHAT IF WE??

I got gas in my truck Sunday, and it was $2.94 a gallon here in Indiana. I came home from work this morning(Tuesday) and see gas has jumped to $3.15 a gallon. Yes, it is definitely eating into my pockets. The trickle down affect as groceries and everything else have increased to cover the gasoline increase.

Increase after increase. I have had to really cut back on my driving. Right now it's about $3.10 per gallon and it seems like the price increases every few days.

I live in NJ which is the cheapest state for petrol, but here, too, the prices have increased to about $ 3.00 per gallon (that's 3.6 litres).

In my area (the Sacramento valley California) it has increased by twenty-seven cents in the last two weeks.

On Social Security with very little else coming in the prices are eating my budget up also.
