First of all, you dont have to be rude...I may be a girl, but I am not retarded. I was only trying to surprise my fiance. He is a security guard and has all the licenses he needs...I just wanted to surprise him with the parts for Christmas, and maybe spend time making it together.

There are to many parts to list. Buy a parts kit from an online dealer, then order a lower reciever from a FFL dealer.
I have built a lot of ARs, and never had a problem with any parts I have bought.
This being said, I would order the kit from Bushmaster, and the order a Bushmaster lower from a dealer.

That is a great rifle and fun to shoot. But there are no kits or complete individual parts bundles available. You will need to go to a gun shop and buy the entire weapon. Have the owner of the shop take it apart for you, so you and your BF can rebuild it together. Have fun with it. Don't vote for the liberal gun banners. Not Hillary or Rudy. They both hate guns.

A word of advice. Unless you are tecnically literate about the function and fitting of parts for the weapon, buy one. You safety depends on it. For example, you have to carefully fit the sear and hammer for proper function and safety, you have to headspace the barrel correctly, or run the risk of something like case separation. The LOWER RECEIVER, which is the serial numbered part, is considered the "firearm" by the BATF, and must be bought through an FFL dealer and be transferred to you like a complete firearm. The sum of the parts necessary, and I assume you want quality parts, will cost you more that the complete gun when you make the final tally. Do yourself a favor, buy one that is complete and ready to go.

The first thing you need is a license to manufacture a firearm.
Then you might start with a barrel blank and a horizontal boring machine....
Or buy one ready made and save a bundle.
Have a look at a mini-14 while you are at it.

You must be joking - Ha Ha.
Surely you know to go down to Guns R Us and pick the pieces out of the labeled bins - that is the way to make an assualt rifle.
