Does anybody else think DWTS is rigged?

I am going to vote for Mel, because she was the best tonight. I will never vote for Helio, because he made a lot of mistakes tonight, and his freestyle wasn't creative like Mel's and Marie's. I think the judges are just partial to Julianne and Helio.Anybody agree with me?

I completely disagree, actually. They are way harder on Helio, and he is NOT even a dancer. He never danced before this! Mel danced everyday of her adult life! Helio's freestyle was the best out of everyone's! And while Maks is one of the most gorgeous men alive, I voted for Helio. I thought he deserved to win! He is on a dance show for amateurs dancing his heart out week after week, and that is what the show is about.

I DEFINITELY think it's rigged. This was my first season watching, and I only did because I used to be a huge Spice Girls fan. Obviously I'm a bit biased (and very unhappy), however I couldn't help but love Helio. He did an amazing job, especially given that he is not a performer and has never done this before. But in no way did I want him to win, and I was actually shocked when he did.

When I thought about it though, the one thing that seemed clear was that Helio and Julianne were available to do all kinds of promos for ABC, while Mel was NOT, because she has tour rehearsals. The best she can do is a live satellite interview with a talk show, while Helio has been going from show to show.

I also find it odd that on Good Morning America on Wednesday, they were scheduled to have the "winner," whomever it would be, and yet they had a whole racecar thing going on with streets in NYC closed off. You can't plan that overnight.

As for voting, if it really is honest, you have to consider that Europeans cannot vote (Mel is British), but some Latin Americans can (Helio is Brazilian.) So there ya go. And all the teenage girls want to vote for the guy (Helio), while men like the little blondie (Julianne.) So there ya go again.

As I said, Helio did great, but I always felt Julianne was doing more of the tough stuff. With Mel and Max, Mel was able to excel at the hard stuff, imo.

I don't think it's rigged, I just think it's the luck of each dancer according to their fan base. I mean, the judges can only do so much. To prove it, look at Marie. Is she really a better dancer than Sabrina Bryan? Hell no! She should've gone home right after Jane Seymour! If justice were served, Sabrina would still be here, along with Cameron Mathison and Albert Reed. Jennie Garth and Wayne Newton shouldn't even have been ON the show, they were so bad, and I don't even remember Josie Maron or whatever. And yes, I think the judges are partial to Helio and Julianne- I think Helio is being rewarded for Julianne's work, her dancing, plus he has great energy. But Mel is by far the best and I hope she wins!

you serious? I totally disagree...they may be partial to Helio and Julianne but it would only be because he's NOT a dancer and never has been...he has no dance experience like the other two have (they realize he may deserve it since he's come so far)...I don't think the show is rigged at all - they go as far as they do because of their fans...if it's rigged, it's for Marie, not Helio

I thought Helio's freestyle was the best!!! No offense to Maks (I love that man!) but his choreography just wasn't that great for Mel and omg Marie's freestyle? I had to look away, it was awful!

I agree that its rigged, but in the wrong way.

DANCING ABILITY must play a part in this. Everyone on the planet who is NOT an Osmond is SHOCKED to see her in the finals. She cannot dance!!! Jennie got cheated, as did Cameron and Sabrina to be sure...

This finale is sad to say the least... But I think out of the three, Marie should get the third place spot. Mel and Helio is a toss up, and while I voted for Helio, none of them did well tonight.
