My partner, as you say, is an intelligent man.
He is able to understand when I am 'not in the mood'. as you say.
Strangely enough he does not try to change my mood.
He knows that my 'gloomy moods' are very rare and they are like the morning mist: they quickly fade with the light of the Sun, but he also knows that this Light has nothing to do with his own behaviour or his words, or other matters.
So, usually he waits till the cloud goes away. And so do I when he is not in the right mood. Sometimes men are 'not in the mood' too ...

I'm pretty much always ready! Not a problem here. It doesn't take long to get him going, which can be a problem. If we lived our lives only having sex, who would do the dishes and the laundry???

For him to get me in the mood, about 5 min. (because I like to play kinda hard to get). For me to get him in the mood, about a minute.
