I've never known and its kind of right there at the midway point. So what do you consider it?

I consider it the south. I'm from NY. Anywhere south of NY with country/southern sounding accents is the south to me.

south east ,
if its below the Mason Dixon line its the south
the two states are D.C looks like it was neutral
but it was segregated at one point
I don't see how Delaware missed it , but i guess since they stayed with the union
