Can you legally sell a car without a title? It's not a good car. But I wanted to see if I could sell it for parts?! If not, what do junk yards usually give you for a junker? 1994 Chevy Caviler z24?

As long at there was no intent to drive it, insure it, or register it it is just like any other piece of property. It can be bought and sold with just money, no paper.

Tricky question. You can sell the car if you are able to prove that you own it. Most states will require that you do a title search before they will allow the sale to be legal. The best thing to do, is try to acquire a salvaged title. This will save you a lot of hassles in the long run.

Only if it is to be used for parts. It someone wants to repair it and drive it, you need the title. You can get a duplicate title for a very small amount of money.
