I don't usually prepare something special for noche buena. I do it on media noche; I think this is more important to me because I want to start the year with all of my family together. You know "palihi" in Visayan. It is one festivity that I give much thought to food preparations.

The mandatories:

Excellente ham
Marca Pato queso de bola
Pan de sal or pan americano
coffee and/or tea
bibingka (rice cakes)
bottles of chilled red wine, Merlot
fruits

Anything else would be "not so important".

Dopends on what my bro will prepare. I'm too lazy to plan and prepare the food. It's usually lechon and turkey as main dishes with the usual stuff.
