Usually when your laptop is on, you can tell when you battery is full or still charing. If I were you, I would not try to guess as this could result in killing your battery faster than normal.
If you don't respect the right cycle, then your battery won't last as much as it can.
Depending on what you do with your computer, the battery charge may last long or short.
Playing intensive games will get your battery empty quickly compare to writing a document.
Your batteries life overtime will reduce and it won't hold charge as much as it used to.

they usually have cheaper replacement batteries.

A battery usually lasts 3-5 hours of continuous use. It depends of course on the laptop, how many apps you run, the type and life of the battery.

It also depends on what you are doing. If you are watching a DVD, it may only last 2 1/2 hours. The average is 2 1/2 to 4 hours.

It really depends on what kind of battery, what kind of laptop, what kind of processor. Typical reliable answer for most new laptops is 3 hours at least, but you can do better.

it depends on the computer, how new the battery is, how good the battery is. most new batteries in new computers last about 5 hours. mine is 6 years old and the battery lasts about 30 min.

It really depends on what kind of laptop..
And it could last at least 5-7 hours..
and 30-60min to recharge.
