"San Antonio - Old Mental Hospital - an abandoned mental hospital on South Alamo Street. It has been said that if you go inside there, you can hear people screaming and moaning. Doors will slam shut and creek open. If you do go there, be careful to not get caught because trespassers will be arrested"

My husband and is friend went there once and he said that it took them about 15 minutes to get the door open because it was so heavy and rusted and as soon as they got in it slammed closed. He told me that, despite the hot and humid temps of SA, it was freezing inside the building. I don't know if that's enough proof that it's haunted. Apparantly there are files of the people that were kept there and it was an insane asylum for people who heinous crime (rape, murder, etc.) and the docotrs and nurses didn't treat them well because of who they were and thats why they shut down. My husband could have been lying but he's told me the story a couple of times and it never changes. Watch out if you're going to go there though, especially around Halloween because the cops will be there. :) Have fun

One of my midget flicks was filmed at the Midget Mansion. Since they're all dead now, that would a great party favor for the strong at heart. Our town only has the 5 acre corn maze and the place where that guy put his wife in his wood chipper a few years back. He's in prison but his cousin makes a fortune off Halloween tourists.

It's not an abandoned NUT house its an abandoned Juvenile detention facility, like Its replacement.Located right next door and in operation.

Me, my mom, my aunt, and my cousin drove by there on Halloween. It's on a street called Farm Rd off of a street called Southton Rd.
That place is creepy. You can't walk up to it because there is signs saying not to do so. I don't know much about it because there isn't much info about it. My cousin had found a bit of info on it but that was just telling where it's at.
