Since November 1st, Brodeur leads all NHL goaltenders in GAA at 1.71!

In the East...Lundqvist, Thomas and Gerber have been the class of the east thus far and certainly deserve serious consideration. Brodeur is finally starting to play better and getting a little scoring help from his team.

In the West...Everything is so crazy that who would have thought that two of the best three goaltenders in the entire league based on stats would be Osgood and Leclair? Well folks that is a fact and to put Roberto Luongo in there over either of those two would be an injustice. He is getting better but I'm not sure he has earned a spot much like Brodeur. But some people just can't seem to let go of past history and popularity when voting for all stars.

Sean Avery doesn't even deserve a mention for anything but loudmouth of the years with his smack talk that his team isn't backing up with the exception of their netminder. Osgood and Thomas are the best choices for a write in mostly because they are easily among the best three goaltenders their respective conferences and have earned a trip.

In the East it should be; Tim Thomas as the starter, Martin Biron, and Henrik Lundqvist. I know that Brodeur will be voted to start, but IMO, he does not deserve a spot this year. Tim Thomas is playing in front of a crap team and he is carrying them on his back. It's amazing how underrated Thomas is, yet he is having by far the best year of any goalie in the East.

In the West it should be; Pascal Leclaire as the starter, Chris Osgood, and Roberto Luongo.

This is all based on how good the goalies are doing THIS year, and these are the top 3 goalies in each conference for THIS season in my opinion.

LITY; that's since November 1st. Before that he was one of the worst in the league. I think it's clear that the best goalie in the East has been Tim Thomas, by far. However, Thomas might not make it. Lundqvist is a shoo-in, and I don't know about Biron, but I think he deserves to be in more than Brodeur. Biron, IMO, is the most important reason why the Flyers are good this year. Luongo has also played bad this season, but I still can't see myself putting Manny Legace or Evgeni Nabokov over Luongo.

For the East I'm going to go with Martin Brodeur and Henrik Lundqvist. Not sure who I would have as the third

For the West would have Luongo, Kippersoff and Osgood

Your right about the Eastern Conference goalie.

But your more off then an old drunk trying to walk a straight line about the Western goalies. I think the Western Conference goalie is going to go to Pascal Leclair, Khabibulin, and Turco.

My write in was Osgood, considering the slow starts of Luongo, Kipper, and Hasek.

Lemme guess your a Rangers fan?

Evgeni Nabokov is the proper goalie contained in the NHL because he has a low GAA (4th in league), tied for eleven in keep percentage with .917, fourth in shutouts with 5, leads the league in wins and on proper of all of it he has began each of the San Jose. As a facet be conscious regardless of the reality that, if Pascal Leclair had began 35 or extra video games i could have stated him because he has outstanding numbers to this point. Pascal Leclair has purely performed 27 and began 26 which rank’s him at 21 contained in the NHL in video games performed and video games began. i for my section imagine it truly is a too small of a pattern.

Hasek? No way, he is a SIV this year. Try OSGOOD! and Pascal Leclaire for the West. (note Luongo hasnt been himself until lately)

East should go to Lundquist and Gerber or Tim Thomas who is playing out of his mind for a career journeyman.

All 5 of the goalies mentioned are in the top 5 in save percentage this year so far! Save percentage is a huge stat.
Also, besides Gerber (who is 7th) The goalies I named lead in GAA! (Goals Against) So there you have it!

I honestly don't think it matters. No defense will be played, the goalies will get bombed, and the final score will be 16-11. I guess guys like Lundqvist and Gerber(East), Leclaire and Osgood(west) should be this years sacrificial lambs. Sorry, but Hasek doesn't belong, his groin and hip have turned him into the walking wounded this year; sad to see.

I think most of you are overlooking Gerber. "Turnaround Player of the Year".... so far. Let's not forget this man was riding the pine last year...and the year before he was incredible. If it hadn't been for getting sick down the stretch and have Cam Ward fill in. Who the heck was going to sit Ward the way he played! Gerber is my pick for the East. Osgood in the West. Avery...well I wouldn't want him there only because I wouldn't want kids looking up to the ....***.
