if you are using light tampons it won't absorb as much moisture as the super ones.
Just check the sides of the box to see how much it can contain, the large ones can hold almost double the amount the small ones can!!

a bigger tampon will absorb more and last longer than a smaller tampon but either way do not leave it in for more than 8 hours. I suggest no longer than 4-6 but that's just me! I get scared.

Whether it be big or small, it needs to be changed every couple hours so you dont develop TSS. Bigger ones hold more, but it increases your chances of TSS. Use a normal size and increase according to the blood flow.

Yes. You are suppose to use the larger ones for a heavier flow or for overnight. What are you paranoid about? I have been using them for about 26 years.

yes, and if your worried about not being able to go take care of that when you need to, you can always get those really thin panty liners, yes they are annoying, but they come in handy if you cant always get away to take care of bussiness
