Yes. I had a conversation with a woman who just finished chemotherapy treatments for cancer. She is doing very well and came through the treatments without getting terribly ill or anemic. She was incredibly friendly and pleasant and grateful to be alive. I have a dear friend who just started chemotherapy and it was encouraging to talk with someone who has come through with such good spirits.
It's always nice to meet people with upbeat attitudes - but someone who's fighting cancer and still smiling - that's really special.
