I don't know if it's just me but every time I hear something new about the current campaigns, it's always about one candidate backstabbing someone else. Should they be bad mouthing about the other candidates or should they rely more on advertising their ability to be a good president.

Am I just clueless or has it always been like this? Or maybe it has been getting worse? I could totally see it giving a negative impression it has on foreign nations.

No your not clueless. We need a good running candidate and from what it looks like they all just want to control over by backstabbing at each other. A good candidate would have already done something to benefit the society. It is very very sad i say. Who will you vote for? or who seems more outread to you?

If Americans researched the issues and called the politicians on discrepancies when they were found.

Politicians who try to run a positive campaign are not rewarded. We would rather worry about non-issues like illegal immigrants, $400 haircuts than the important matters facing this country:
The problems our returning troops face receiving medical and mental health care.
Finding the real terrorists who attacked us on 9/11
Reforming the Patriot Act and No Child Left Behind Act

I really want Obama to win the Democratic nomination, and as he gets closer to Mrs. Clinton, she is starting to look for things to sling at him. Thing is, he's smart enough to admit he inhaled before Hillary can slander him for his past drug use. I think she's really having a hard time finding something wrong with him.

I'm glad to see that Oprah's with Obama. Here's this black woman who, even though she constantly champions womens' rights above all things, supports Obama as the best candidate. If Hillary really deserved to be the first woman president, Oprah would surely back her. I hope all of Oprah's fans will follow suit!

I'm tired of having to vote for the "lesser of two evils." It was Jorge Bush in 2000 and 2004. The lesser evil will probably be Rudy over Hillary.

Why can't we get good people to run for President. NONE of the candidates are that great.

oreo17 and amnesty sucks, I love ya both! Truer Americans there never were! Of course it gives negative impressions to foreign nations. It's gotten really terrible, even if all the negativity on Hillary is true!

I've been around for a while and it's always been like that. It's not so pretty, but that's just the way it's been at least since I've been in this World and I heard my Grandfather talk about it before he passed away. Yes, it's been here a while and not apt to change much in the future.

i gave up worrying about politics, putting your faith in mans law is pointless any way. Have faith in a higher power and you know that whatever man does and whatever laws he or she makes, gods laws do not change. Love god with all your heart and soul, and love your neighbor as your self. One more thing, if you are personally doing the best you can in this life, then *** the rest. The best is all you can do, so no need worry.

I am a Canadian, but I'm clever enough to know that if the US goes down, we follow in a big, huge hurry.

And it seems like the question is "Where are we going and why are we in this handbasket?"

I'm worry that Hillary might win! She would be a total disaster for this country.

I don't worry about Ron Paul winning since he has no hope, another total disaster for the nation.
