My dad is 69 years old. Dosent go many places other than still working some. I'm looking either something practical for him for Christmas or either something that is sentimental. Any suggestions?

Guys like electronic gadgets.
Christmas is more for practical gifts and for his Birthday or Fathers Day you can get him something more sentimental.

If he doesn't go out much and stays home a lot then I would highly recommend a HDTV.
I bought my parents a HDTV last year which they didn't think was needed but once they started watching it they couldn't believe what they were seeing. They watch the Discovery channel and sports programs in High Def. and love it. They love all the nature programs and feel like they are there. LOL
It makes their life so much more interesting as they feel like they are actually there and makes for their isolated life much more interesting. People don't realize how great the picture is on a HDTV unless they own one.
My parents talk about it every week and it seems to make their life that much more interesting as they have more to talk about and they watch programs they wouldn't have watched before because it didn't give the same effect as HD does now.
HDTV prices have come down so much and has made it very affordable to everyone.
Don't underestimate how much HDTV can have on a persons life especially if they watch a lot of Television and don't go out much.
My parents would not have bought one for themselves but after getting one they can not live without it.

Goodluck and hope this helps.

I reckon the best present would be a Digital Photo Frame.
I think you can store a hundred photos or more on it.
You download as many photos as you like, and keep adding to them as well. You can change the photos at the push of a button, or have them slowly and randomly change, continuously, a wonderful gift I think. I saw it on tv last night, I'm getting one for my parents.
Hope this idea helps you out.

I got my dad a fishing rod rack to hold his fishing poles because they are always on the ground in the garage. I'm not sure about your dad... what are some of his interests?
