Meh. I don't think so. It's got to the point to where all relevant parties know my nature: I resist. My first impulse is to fight, not cooperate, not give in. I wouldn't be alive now if that weren't the case.
And, well, since I'm officially just "this guy", down and out in America....the relevant parties really don't think it matters. They largely believe my cooperation, my best efforts, don't matter and are worthless, completely so.
And they may be right, but....I know I didn't completely *create* that situation either. I was led into it. Lied to, deceived, and then browbeaten into taking blame that wasn't mine to have. Sure, I've made mistakes, but more than a few failures of mine were *engineered*. They happened by design. People inflicted them upon me on purpose in the name of an agenda, be it about "cognitive behavioral therapy" or about some anti-intellectual fundie "you gotta believe in it with all your heart" crap. Isn't that so Bob? Or how about when some careerist at one of my former jobs decided to advance her career, not just at my expense mind you, but at the expense of an *ENTIRE PROGRAM* I helped create for the simple, common good of people in clear need? Isn't that so, Mildred, Samantha?
So yeah. No roses here. Not even a friend to talk to, or a hope for a fair break. Why give it out when you think I don't matter? I get that.
