First of all, tell me what big team has West Virginia beaten to be up there with them? Next, Missouri beat Illinois, while Ohio State lost to the Illini. Missouri has beaten #2 Kansas and was ahead of Oklahoma at the end of 3 quarters and if they beat the Sooners plus winning the best conference in team strength, I think this will quiet all you media and Buckeye lovers for believing your Buckeyes are so great .Ohio State didn't beat any top 10 ranked opponent this season plus almost lost to a wimpy Michigan State team that lost to its injured big brother Michigan. A win by Missouri over Ohio State would show how overrated the midwest, BIG TEN, and Notre Dame are and that pollsters should look at them more closely before they make their preseason predictions.

did someone really say Hawaii??? c'mon, Hawaii would be lucky to beat Notre Dame(ok, maybe not), but really, they should play WVA if they beat OU, which they won't

Sorry, but Texas was struggling with Ohio State. I don't think they could have handled the Gators. Texas is overrated. Oklahoma still played a good game yesterday, they just made some mistakes. If they had more drives like the one in the second quarter, which is how they typically play, then the game would have had a different outcome. Utah should have been the team in the National Championship. They beat Oregon State, which beat USC. They dominated over Alabama, which Florida obviously struggled with, so that alone shows they are better than Florida. Also a side note, I'm from Florida and I wanted Oklahoma to win. I'm not an Oklahoma fan, I'm a Husker fan. I just wanted Oklahoma to beat Florida and remind them what the Big 12 is really like like the Huskers did in the 1995 National Championship. And another side note, the only people who are going to think Texas should have played in the Championship are those who are already Texas fans. Anyone else can clearly see that Texas is not better than Oklahoma. They played the same teams, but Oklahoma DOMINATED the Big 12 this year. Get used to it Texas. You guys aren't as great as you think you are.

West Virginia, when healthy, has a great running game and has big time playmakers on offense. Also West Virginia lost earlier in the year compared to some other teams with one loss, lossing earlier in the year has a slightly less effect on BCS rankings. Mizzou definitely should be in the BCS title game, they're a top 2 team in the nation right now and their resume of victories will be very impressive if they beat Oklahoma. The team that was the most overrated in the Big Ten coming out of the preseason was Wisconsin followed by Michigan. They were thought to be title contender during the first few games of the season. Also most analysts knew this was a rebuilding year for Notre Dame football. Other than that Illinois has been a surprise in the Big Ten and the conference has proved to have more depth than a lot of other conferences namingly the WAC, Big East, and ACC.

I think it should be Hawaii vs West Virginia... I have a feeling Mizzou loses to Oklahoma, Ohio St should be like #45, and the only reason Hawaii hasn't beaten any good teams this year is because nobody would schedule them, which isn't there fault. I think the Big Ten is ridiculously overrated right now, although I don't think it's always been that way, and I think the Big East and WAC are way too underrated, and it would be a funny blow to the football establishment to have the Big East and WAC champs play for the title. What better way to make a case for the playoffs than having a Championship game that doesn't have an SEC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac-10, or ACC team involved... ahh it'd be classic.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Missouri in the Midwest?

So what are you saying, the Midwest is overrated or Missouri is overrated because they’re in the Midwest?

I really don’t understand your comment about Notre Dame being overrated, I don’t see them anywhere in the rankings and I don't believe they ever were this year.

Why don’t you go back, put together a coherent question and we’ll try to provide an answer.

Your comment about the Michigan State game is way off base, that game wasn’t even close, all you are looking at is the final score.

What is your question? Should they play Ohio St. (or West Virginia) or simply insist that they are the best team and boycott the game? If you want to play the chain rule game, Missouri lost to Oklahoma, while Colorado beat Oklahoma. But be grateful for what you have. Missouri gets another crack at Oklahoma while Ohio St. has to sit at home and hope.

Number #2 Kansas was overrated in the first place. If Missouri win and WVU wins thats who will play for the national championship I am sure the mic's will get rusty on TV with OSU whining and crying but thats the way it is. WVU was the only team other than Missouri to lose to a ranked team this year.

First of all, WVU has beaten several ranked teams, but no stunningly great ones. In fact, their record looks remarkably like OSU, as far as the best ranked teams they've played. The major differnece between the two is that WVU lost earlier in the season. Both OSU and WVU have played more ranked teams than MIzzou, you have just played higher ranked teams.

Next, while it might be nice for Mizzou to play OSU, it is FAR more likely they'll play WVU. In fact it's probably more likely to Las Vegas that WVU will play OSU than Mizzou. That's because Mizzou has a tougher opponent on Saturday, and WVU is at home.

personally, I hope it's Mizzou vs. WVU in the title game and OSU vs. LSU at 3 & 4 (if LSU beats Tennessee). I have no doubt LSU can beat OSU, and the speed of WVU and Mizzou will make for an exciting game.

Good luck against Oklahoma. remember, on any given day....

No, they would play WVU for the National Championship!

Hawaii should be playing for for it if it came down to Ohio State making it. Their strength of schedule is just as good as Ohio States lol. At least Hawaii tried to schedule hard teams such as texas and michigan. They wouldn't play them though. Ohio State could play anyone in the country. Just take a look at that non-conference schedule...o and just take a look at that conference schedule. If we are going to let cup cake schedules with good records play, then we have to let hawaii in don't we? It only makes sense to me.

HELL YEAH! I think if missouri beats OU they should!
Missouri actually earned there #1 spot and started the season unranked and now they are #1. They beat illinois who beat ohio and they barely lost to oklahoma. But most of all they beat #2 KU when they were #4!!!!!!
KUCK FANSAS!!!!!!!

if mizzou played ohio state, they would destroy them....mizzou is a far better team than ohio state and has played far tougher teams, this year should show that the big 12 was the toughest division yet again....and i think the winner of the big 12 will take the national championship
