That varies from state to state and contractor to contractor. My advice. Get at least three price quotes with ALL your needs printed out in plain English. Ask questions.

Have a master electrician give you an estimate, check his references and his last job, how long he took to finish, etc. Then get three estimates. My son-in-law charges about $48.00 an hour but, on a complete job, that changes.
