i'm confusing on this .

you have to get x alone in the middle.
but lets say that you subtract 1 from the middle...you have to subtract 1 from both the left and the right side.

so subtract 1 through from inequality
6 < -x < 12
now negate the inequality to make x sign positive
so -6 > x > -12 ( as u negate , inequality signs also changed up)
so -12 < x < -6 is answer

7+x < 1 < 13+x
6+x < 0 < 12+x
6 < x < 12

- 12 < x < - 6

sbtract with 1
6<-x<12
devide with -1(for making x positive)
-6>x>-12
simply its mean the value of x belongs to (-6,-12)
