3 divided 3/4
to solve you must multiply and therefore reversing 3/4 to 4/3
and now its

3 x 4/3 the threes cancel out
becoming
1x 4 = 4

4 is the solution

Okay, lets not look at it as 3. lets see it as the problem:

(3/1) / (3/4)

Now, we know that to divide any two fractions, you just multiply one side by the reciprocal, so the problem now looks like:

3/1 * 4/3

Oky doke. Looks simple right? Just multiply the Numerator and the denominator to get a fraction

12/3

Now just simplify:
