No, they will not eat other fish, they will fight them and pick on them till they die, but will not eat them. If you want to feed it something other than the pellets, try dried blood worms.

No they dont eat live fish for food only to attack and then some but you can try feeding it freeze dried krill or baby shrimps in a can sold at your local pet store. It may like it. But the shrimps and krill do make a cloudy mess so just give the tank a little scoop with the fish net and get the uneaten food out after your betta stops eating.

Live fish, bad idea. Live foods, good idea. The natural food of Bettas is mosquito wigglers, but a little research will let you find other sources of live food.

no. They will not eat other fish. Do not let another fish be picked to death by your betta. They are best kept on a pellet diet. 99.99% of bettas you buy are males. The males will even kill a female if you put her in his tank.

only if the Betta's mouth is big enough which i highly doubt Betta's are usually adults when bought so if it cannot fit a fish in its mouth,no, because they have no teeth like fixtures in their mouth like other carnivore fish...also its great that you have him in a 10 gallon because normally people get the 1 quart Betta tank and think its alright, which it isn't alright.

You can culture insect larvae and offer that as a live food, but bettas don't prey on "feeder fish".
