I think conservative would be good. Maybe a long dress with a sweater over it, or a pants suit maybe. Just try to look somewhat professional but something that keeps ur youth at the same time! I know, I was a lot of help!

To make a good impression, lean toward the more conservative side. I'd suggest a festive holiday dress in a bright color, but not showing too much cleavage or wearing the skirt too short. Or you may be more comfortable in a dressy pant outfit. Wear nice boots or pretty high heels with either outfit. Not too much glitz or heavy makeup and go easy on the jewelry. Maybe you should find out whether the party is dressy or casual, so you can dress accordingly. If it's more casual, a nice pair of jeans with a fancy top or a cashmere sweater set would be very approriate. Have fun!

My husband is in business and I go through the same thing. Just remember to stay conservative. Black or grey skirt and boots or pants are usually safe with a nice sweater. Try not to be too trendy, that's when people will assume that you are young. Stay true to your style and remember that most of the other significant others are just as unsure about what to wear as you are!

I would say go to banana republic. They have cute sortof conservative pieces that i think would work. You want to look simple, classy and stylish. Id say go with black. Maybe black and white. Even a grey or midnight blue top/dress. Dont be all sequiny or bright. Im picturing a cute black dress- maybe knit. With black opaque tights and cute black boots with a really trendy coat(red, tan or navy would be cute). Or even wide-leg black slacks with a ruffle white button down top with tights and peep toed suede heels. Maybe you could wear all black with a colored heel. Make your makeup simple. Wear black eyeliner- mascara- blush and some lip color. Id go for solids with an accent of jewelry. Maybe a vintage piece. Hope I helped.

Find out where it's being held. If it's at a private Golf club you know it's going to be a nice dress. If it's going to be held at McDonald's jeans will do just fine.
