You would round it just like any other number. In this case you are looking at the 6 and the 7. The answer is 2.007. The reason is that it only wants three numbers after the decimal. That means that you would look at the number to the right of the 6, and if 5 or higher you go up and if 4 or lower you leave it the same.

I guess that would mean round to the nearest thousandth since you said three decimal places, so it should be 2.007.

The general rule is that if the next digit is 5 or greater, you round up. If it is 4 or below, you leave it alone.
