I'm a personal trainer and nutritionist let me tell you FOR A FACT that it is IMPOSSIBLE to lose 6 lbs in 12 days. It takes 3500 calories to lose a lb. If you cut your calories to 1500 a day you will still only lose 2 lbs a week. The rest will be water wieght and you will put it back on once you drink something.
If you're trying to make wieght then I would use the 1500 calorie a day diet and then dehyrate myself for the last couple days (3 days). That doesn't mean NOT drink anything. It simply means to cut your water intake in half or so. Wiegh yourself a couple times a day and monitor your progress closely.

Don't eat any sugar, carbohydrates, fried food, or snack foods such as chips, etc.. Eat several times a day but something very low in calories. Drink non sugar drinks such as crystal lite or diet waters...no sugar. Use splenda and non fat half and half for coffe or tea. Daily you can take five small meals such as: have a slimfast shake, eat an apple, eat celery or carrots (choose one of these for each "meal" and space them about two hours apart). Then for dinner, eat something like boca burgers with a tomato and cucumber salad with lime juice, or eat poached tilapia with some salad greens and no fat dressing or lime juice, or a baked boneless, skinnless chicken breast with spinach. No oils though, no added fats whatsoever. Salt is allowed though. I lost 25 lbs in less than a month. In the first week and a half I lost 14 lbs. (I've lost 59.5 lbs in five months although I did add foods in the second month). Hope this helps.

You have to burn 3500 calories to lose a pound. If you have to lose 6 pounds, that's 21,000 calories, or 1,750 calories a day. If you have wrestling practice most of the days, you might burn about 3,000 calories a day, so you have to consume less than 1,250 calories a day. That's probably not enough to have the energy to wrestle every day. There is also another way that I won't recommend, but let's just say that Mary Kate Olsen has probably done it a couple times.

It should be a healthy diet, an excerise also wouldn't hurt as well, no matter if you are doing sit ups, push ups, walking , running etc. If you take good care of your body, then you body will take good care of you, if you don't, you become fat, and you migth even get yourself tired out, even from running.
