Look at all this orange! My eyes are burning!!!

LOL

Seriously, what is up with all the badges, is this national give out badges day? lol. Congrats to all who got one, especially PuckDat! Does anyone know who got the badges? I know of PuckDat, Haley D, TBL, and Cyrenaica, but is there anyone else?

Also, Flames Fan has lost his badge. As did the old suspended account of Chris The Leafs Fan, it's funny how the account had no name, but still had a badge, well the badge is finally gone.

This brings the grand total of Hockey top contributors to, I'm guessing; 24? Anyone know?

OMG Snoop lost his badge! Wow, ok, I'll try to come up with a list of the current top contributors, and those who lost badges today, and those who gained badges today. BTW, where is green? I cannot find her account anywhere, has it been deleted?

There you are green! I thought we lost you there for a while. Wow, you got a badge too? Damn. Well congrats! btw, why is everything on your profile private? I tried to find your account by seeing who has you listed as their contact, but you aren't allowing anyone to be you contact. The feature is turned off. It would be easier to find you, lol.

Anyway, here's the list of current top contributors:

288
Bob Loblaw
copas
cyrenaica
DC FURY
Erica
green
Haley
Jeff P
LITY
Lubers25
Mike, (Avs Fan)
PuckDat
TB Lightng
zamdriver76
zapcity29

People who lost their badges: Snoop, |Flames|Fan|, Chris The Leafs fan (suspended account), and that "you" guy. Am I missing someone anywhere?

trombass: that's exactly what I was thinking. This section is so tightly knitted together, everyone knows everyone else. It turns out Chris, Erica, and Copas asked questions regarding these badges in the hockey section already. I didn't notice them lol.

Sorry to see Snoop lose his badge. Snoop asks the good thought provoking questions. In fact, he probably asks the best questions overall. He just needs to answer more I guess.
Flames Fans we have hardly seen lately. Didn't he drop from our hockey league too?
Too bad Zam isn't here. I wanted to talk some smack after I wiped his team last week and knocked him out of first.
Thanks for all your kind words and support and gratz to the other newly badged people here.

Pucks was long overdue.. Thats unanamous.. All I can contribute is about 3 1/2 years of following the sport and mainly the happenings of one team.. MANY are more deserving than myself..
Green got the badge.. Didnt see anything about the account gone; just noticed the badge when I logged in on a Q by Green yesterday.. Anyhow, my point is I know of many who are more deserving and contribute TONS more than myself..
A good thing to see is that 3 of our top guys are under 18 yrs. old.. That says a lot about the passion and future of each of you ( Take a bow)..
Bob and LITY will always be the heart and soul here..Then there are the ones like you Mike, who are on the fast track to being the one.. Then there are the guys like me.. Who answer to mainly what concerns our team or something we have an opinion about..
All things being said, I dont know what constitutes a top contributor status; but I do know there are MANY more knowledgeable and passionate people on here that should have gotten this LONG before I ever should have been considered.
I just wanna know-- "WHAT DID THEY HAVE TO DRINK AT THE Y! ANSWERS THANKSGIVING GET TOGETHER?"
Cause I have a few clients that i need to give a snort of that to; so they will think I am really "all that" as they evidently do..

Just doesnt seem right or fair to many others.. This status should be reserved to a percentage of the overall contributors which isnt many in this awesome little section...

Whether I have a badge under my name or not; Thank all of you for putting up with a guy in a nontraditional market that really enjoys the wisdom and the occasional backlashes from this exceptionally great section..

Yeah! I got my badge back. I lost it because I tried to schedule most of my long distance traveling in the beginning of the season and was not here as often as I have been in the past. We will see how that whole scheduling thing works out for me. Congrats to the many deserving people who received them for the first time though.

Edit: How did Snoop lose his badge? I understand how I lost mine and Zam probably just did given his leave of absence but Snoop is still one of the most frequent contributors here. I guess we need to figure out what their criteria are.

Edit2: Okay, Yahoo has lost all credibility in my eyes regarding this entire "Top Contributor" badge thingy. How do I go about forfeiting my badge? Zam is one of the best contributors here on Answers but given the circumstances, how does he retain his badge yet Snoop loses his?

How did people actually lose their badges???? thats bizarre if i do say so my self:)

I swear....Y!A has just been having a field day with those badges. Someone has gone BADGE CRAZY!!!

Flames Fan lost his badge....i shed a tear (no joke, im not even being sarcastic) and so did snoop??? Wrong people, wrong!!

Do they have like a limit to the amount of badges in each section, so when they give out they have to take some away???

thats like taking away someones soup!!! "excuse me, sir, but i have to take back some of your half eaten soup because we have run out....come back SOON!!!!!" lol

Congrats to all who got the badges though

I haven't seen Snoop as much recently. Maybe you have to answer a certain number of questions to maintain the badge. Justa guess. Snoop's quantity of answers seems to be down but the quality is still top notch.
Didn't Wings Fan have one too?

Congrats to those who earned their stripes today (some were loooooooong overdue here). Keep up the great work!

I lost my badge...I'm trying to figure out why. I have been a good contributor here, too. :(

An addendum- I had the badge earlier today. Very strange indeed. The support everyone gives me here makes up for that loss of my badge. Thank you everyone.

Addendum #2- Thanks everyone for the kind and encouraging words. Thanks also for recognizing my work here as well. "I don't need no stinkin' badge!!!"

Ya Know, I really don't care about it. If I could give mine back to Snoop or Zam, I would. I don't care and it might make them feel good....
