Can I see some ID before I answer this question?
no, seriously, if you have your social security number and all your names, past, present and future, and your birth dates and perhaps a birth certificate and some bills to prove your address and name all go together, you can start at the DMV and they will help you.
The social security office will ask for birth certificate or passport. Bring everything you can think of that has your name and address on it. CHeckbooks, Bills, Envelopes from mail that came to your house. You'll get it all back, just be patient and bring as much proof of you as you can.

Take anything you have that would establish who you are (birth records, marriage, divorce, even bills could help) and go first to the Social Security Office. Once you have that started they can instruct you. Don't panic it happens all the time.
Call the DMV or DHS also. Just start with one agency to keep the panic down.

Go to the town hall and get your birth certificate. If it is a liscense it is in the registries records and they can print another for you for a fee. Social security I believe you need a birth certificate.

First, I am sooooo sorrry this happened to you. Do you have your birth certificate? If not, you can order one (on0-line, although it's expensive).....damn that sucks. But once you have that you will be okay. Then again, damn, I had to get mine for a job (I'm 49) and I had to give a copy of my drivers license. CALL THE DMV -- they can get you your license back.

Not entirely sure, but It will surely involve your birth certificate. Just call the sec of state and ask what to do. Or just the ask the cop, I assume you filed a police report?

take your birth certificate to the DMV [and all the other stuff you have to have-proof of residency, ect-it varies in different states], and then go get your social once you have a new I.D.
or it might be vice versa-call the DMV first and ask which one you do first.

Actually, this is a VERY common problem! It varies from place to place, but there ARE ways. I suggest you call your local DMV and ask them - they are the ones who get that question most often. Your bank may also be able to answer it for you.

First go to DMV and replace your drivers license.
Then call social security or go into one of their offices and apply for replacements.
Credit cards: Call the number on your statement.
Check book: Call your bank ASAP

go to the county clerk in the county you were born in, get a copy of your birth certificate, you may need a parent with you, cause sometimes they ask for an ID to get certificates. once that is complete, go to Motor vehicle office, show them your certificate and ask for a duplicate license.
