Sure, provided the dress was well-maintained and clean and the fee was reasonable. I mean, if you're just going to wear it the one time, why spend so much money?

Oh heck yeah I would! I've bought bob knows how many dresses for special occasions that I am NEVER going to wear again! It is not fair that guys can just go out and rent a tux when girls have to spend big bucks for a one night dress!

I would totally! If I had the choice of getting a really super cruddy dress and wearing it for one night and paying the same amount to get a nicer dress for one night obviously I would pick #2. If this is about prom definitely rent you most likely aren't going to wear teh dress agai nanyways! Just make sure not to spill anything, get a great pair of shoes, and you're set! =] I hope I could help! Have fun shopping and good luck!

I would and I have. I rented my prom dress. I knew I would never wear that dress anywhere else. As far as memories..that's what pictures are for, plus the one's you keep in your mind. If you don't trust the cleanliness of the place you rent it at, get it cleaned again at another place.

absolutely. how is it any different from a tux rental for men? I have a closet full of very expensive party dresses I will probably never wear again. it would be so much easier to rent it and be done with it. if the stars can do it why can't I?

I know I'm a guy, but in high school I (and most other people) stopped growing, so buying a tux (in your case a dress) makes just as much since as renting one because you can wear it over and over without growing out of it.

its like tux rentals for guys. If they are dry cleaned and things then yes for sure. why would you want to spend hundreds of dollars on a night that is only going to last 3 hours and go by way too quickly to even remember all 3 hours years down the road?
