i like of music like rock and classical music i know that they don't go good to gather but people make fun of me for it so please help me and answere my Quistion please??

I 'spose I'm weird too...I like Rock and Classical Music.

I listen to the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Grieg, Beethoven...heh.

I listen to Ska (Tokyo Ska Paradise)

The only genres I really don't like are country and rap...
All they do is
Sing about how much they hate their life...
That they were dumped by your wife.
And swear all thoroughout the song.
Just to make their rhymes legit.

Actually ^^^ is weird, but it is a good thing to be different!

So don't worry about it, just follow your interest and enjoy with a passion!

Most modern music, be it rock, hip hop or whatever has some grounding in classical music. Billy Joel once said that there is no original music any more, you can find the tune to any modern song in classical music somewhere.

Bravo Magazine once interviewed outstanding musicians in both camps. They found that most of the popular musicians liked classical music. However, the classical musicians gave mixed answers. Some liked popular music, some didn't, and some said they didn't know, they never listened to it.

At the University of Tennessee, there was a music professor who played in a local rock group. The department chairman kept chiding him for tarnishing his image. The professor kept saying that's tough, what he did on his own time was his own business.

If you're weird, then so am I, and a LOT of other people, too. I'm a music teacher and like everything from Mozart to Kanye West to Rage Against the Machine to dance/pop from India. Liking a variety of music just makes you more interesting.

Besides, Duke Ellington (one of the most important American jazz musicians) once said that there are really only two types of music: good and bad.

omg thats bad people! rock and classical are great and continue to live on even today. Apparently they dont have any good taste for music because even some hip hop has evolved from rock and many adaptations of classical music. Just shrug it off because they dont know what they are saying. Be unique and stick with your music because you should always be true to your principles.

You're not weird, I listen to Rock, Pop, Classical, World etc etc.. I find different things to appreciate in each type of music. Its not weird, its called being open minded, which isn't a bad thing at all!

you're not wierd....ever hear of a rock opera?....mixes the best of classical and rock....try Tommy or Quadrophenia, or Jesus Christ Superstar for the best mixture.....I grew up on a lot of classical music, and can play classical piano, but I also absolutely love rock (the harder the better), and I can rock out on the drums......don't worry about the people making fun of you...just be yourself

You are not weird at all, you have great taste. I think it takes a special person to appreciate different styles of music, and the more you understand and listen to , the broader your horizons are.
