The preachings of religion make a person dependent on priests, temples, idols, blind faith, and dogma, and dependence is a habit of the lower mind. Such crutches may be useful at a certain stage for some people, but they do not lead one to Ultimate Truth. A dependent mind is not free, and without freedom, enlightenment is impossible.
The Upanishads say that to rise above and reach a state beyond and to know the real nature of the transitory world, one must cultivate logic and pure reason and make sincere efforts with the help of deep contemplation.
They declare, “Only that which is good and auspicious in Upanishadic literature should be revered and brought into practice, and the rest should be left behind for further introspection.”

So what Logic your are looking in your path of search about TRUTH?
Do TRUTH exists?

First thing we need to know is the art of survival. If we are not even able to survive then there is now way we can ever think of such high concepts.
After survival we look for happiness. We indulge all the activites which provide that. Sense are those channels of happiness. But the happiness they promise is mere a dew drop. So we want more which leads to Love. Love is eternal but when we invest it on the perishable art or canvas or life there is lot more pain than happiness.

Then knowledge guides to take quest for eternal happiness. If lucky we come to know the concept of God. If we are good enough we get to know it. If we are lucky we get to realize.

So upanishads or Vedas or anyother scriptures not only teach us to use head(Logic) but also guides to devotion (Love) heart.

Doubts can make a misery of ignorance and also can make us to enjoy the life mystry if we just acknolowdge it and move forward.

Hope I have contributed something for u to guide u better.

Everything you say jives with me!

I realize the need for increased spirituality and that spirituality could give me an acumen I never could achieve alone.

I no longer search for THE truth, but realize there are subtle "ahas" in every endeavor and learning.

The logic behind enjoying any findings of truth is circumspectfully continuing this journey. I haven't reached any great insights, apparently.

Dear friend!
Only an independent soul can pursue in the path of truth.
Bhavisia Purana or the Purana detailing about future points out the coming of Mahamat /Mohamed in Arabia .
It was pointed therein that he would preach the truth.
How this prophesy happened and was declared the last
prophet on earth remains still a truth .
This is a fine subject for research for those interested.
It is also a part of history that ADAM was landed on Earth in
Srilanka where there is an ADAM MALA, by name and the
huge footprint of Adam in one of the rock.
After 100 years of journey ADAM and EVE meet at JEDDA
in saudi Arabia.
Students of history may collect clear evidence for the same.
Study and resrech theology is toomuch interesting to get the truth.
For this we must understand things in the correct way independently from the clutches of the priest hood .
We must follow our own ways to understand things.

Great question!

Very true observations and findings. The Truth will always be a continued search and inquiry. This is the lovemaking or wooing of it. The knowledge of truth is the praise of it, and the belief of truth. It is the enjoyment we found and is the sovereign good of human nature.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

Truth is something which doesn't change. A thing which doesn't change is dead . So there is nothing in the world which can be described as truth.
All the religions and scripts which proclaims the goodness of truth are dead. They don't change. Only the maya remains...

Truth defies logic, it seems.Logic helps us to understand reality because it (logic) stems from reality.Truth is beyond reality even as it determines it. Grasping truth is like grasping something that is beyond human existence as we understand it.

TRUTH does exist and our search for it is an everlasting process and may be at times , a whole life may not be sufficient for its realisation ; and yet, we continue probing for it in the dark.
