All you had to do was to call him on his cell while he was away and see how he talked to you, did you do that? Did he show you the pictures in his wallet voluntary or did you see them when he opened his wallet to get money out.? Being gone 6 days just to see a sister does not seem right to me. 6 days he took off from work for a sister and leaving a brand new girlfriend, what's wrong with this picture. There is something not right with this guy. Sounds like you could be the other woman without knowing it.

Reminds me of a TV episode, Friends or Seinfeld, probably the latter, where somebody, like Elaine, was trying to date somebody who spent a lot of time with his/her adult sibling. The kicker was when the brother and sister were found bathing together. No, this is not normal! Either he has an appetite for incest or he is lying repeatedly to you. Does it really matter which one it is? Dump him.

Hmm, with the info given this one is hard. I have a sister that I am very close to, we are 1.5 years apart but who knows, it could happen at any age I guess. But yeah it could be some lost love that he is telling you is his sister so you won't freak out, hard to say, keep your eye on him and see, but you could also ask, maybe in a casual sort of way in case it really is his sister.

How do you know she is actually his step sister and not a former girlfriend..or even a present one he is on hiatus from at this time? Have you met his family? Do you know his friends? How well? No.. your situation is not normal.
He left town without inviting you? Come on, girl. You know whats going on and are just afraid to admit you have probably been had. .. It is ok to let this one "get away". Make it look like it is his idea. If any of your friends go out with him..warn them. Other than that? Just let him go.

its possible, framed pics of family around your apartment is pretty standard. Wallet, TV, and two on the night stand --- that seems a bit much...does he have pics of anyone else in the apartment? Did he talk about her further, did he talk about anyone else in his family? You have been out with him 8 times has he given you any other reasons to be suspicious?

Your guy friend and his "sister" are 10 years apart, and sometimes siblings which are years apart can be very close... he might feel like a father figure to his sister?
If you don't trust him, don't believe him, and are suspiscious of him, then date other people. It's not worth the stress.

I know there are guys that close to their family members, but you can be smart and find out before you get into each other more, like to ask him to talk to his sister on the phone, or ask his friends....
